What Commercial Energy Assessors do
EPCC provide energy assessment of commercial premises, we
are energy inspectors of both commercial and industrial
property. We are Non-Domestic Energy Assessors (NDEA) who
provide energy calculations for non-dwellings, this includes
all types of buildings which are considered as
"non-dwellings". EPCC can provide energy calculations
and Energy Performance Certificates
(EPC) for commercial and
industrial premises, including large office buildings, small
offices, and retail premises across the UK.
We can provide SBEM calculations and production of Commercial EPC's UK

require to perform commercial energy assessment. |

Energy Performance of Buildings - Facts
Business
can benefit from gaining better energy ratings, there are the
obvious benefits for the environment with lower CO2 emissions,
however if your company runs in an energy efficient manner, then
your energy bills can be reduced, thus lowering your business
overheads, and add to profitability.
Wasting energy through the
use of inefficient plant/equipment and methods of control will impact on
costs. If the building you own or occupy has air conditioning
installed it will be required to be inspected by an Air
Conditioning Energy Assessor, further information about the
inspection: Air
Conditioning Assessors.
The Energy Assessor will compile
recommendations for the building providing advice on ways to
improve the energy performance of the property in a
recommendations report which accompanies the energy certificate.
It is not a mandatory requirement to comply with the supplied
recommendations in the report.
Commercial property
< 50m2 GIA are exempt from the requirement to acquire a
certificate.
