Commercial Energy Assessors
If your company owns, lease or are considering the sale of
commercial or industrial premises in North Wales you will require
an Energy Performance Certificate from 1st October 2008.
Facilities managers are requested to provide as much
information about the property as possible. A summary of
information required to produce an EPC is detailed under commercial
energy assessment although this is not an exhaustive list.
For existing commercial buildings it is likely that a site
survey by a qualified energy assessor will be required, to
gather the required data in order to calculate energy ratings
for the property. Commercial
Energy Performance Certificates are required as part of
the EU directive (EPBD). An EPC
can only be issued by a qualified & accredited commercial
energy assessor or NDEA
Non
Domestic Energy Assessor. |

What Commercial Energy Assessors do
EPCC provide energy assessment of commercial premises, we
are energy inspectors of both commercial and industrial

provide energy calculations for non-dwellings, this includes
all types of buildings which are considered as
"non-dwellings". EPCC can provide energy calculations
and Energy Performance Certificates
(EPC) for commercial and
industrial premises, including large office buildings, small
offices, and retail premises across the UK.

Energy Performance of Buildings - Facts
Business
can benefit from gaining better energy ratings, there are the
obvious benefits for the environment with lower CO2 emissions,
however if your company runs in an energy efficient manner, then
your energy bills can be reduced, thus lowering your business
overheads, and add to profitability. Wasting energy through the
use of inefficient plant/equipment and methods of control will impact on
costs. If the building you own or occupy has air conditioning
installed it will be required to be inspected by an Air
Conditioning Energy Assessor, further information about the
inspection: Air
Conditioning Assessors. Reduce CO2 emissions and save on
energy costs for your property refer to Switch
Energy Suppliers and Business
Energy Saving measures to help lower the cost of energy
fuels for your premises.
